Michael sings Mala Femmena
Mala Femena is one of the most well know Italian Neapolitan classics made famous by the late great Jimmy Roselli, who I had the good fortune of meeting in 1976. I was performing at the San Roc in New York, opening for Tiny Tim, of all people, when he walked in. When I was finished Mr Roselli invited me to sit down with him. He turned to me and said “kid you have a great voice, you remind me of me, you need to learn Italian songs.” With that he sent his guy out to his car and returned with a stack of 8-track tapes. That began my love for Italian classics.
